With
it's roads lined with ancient stone walls, Doolin is a small
village located just south of Galway on the west coast of
Ireland. Accessible by bus and car, it is most famous for
the nearby Cliffs of Moher and ferry access to the Aran Islands.
Doolin itself is a lovely, quiet village. If
you are looking for authentic Irish music, this is the place
to come. There are three pubs in Doolin featuring some of
the best Irish music in the country!

When you arrive in Doolin, you can get around the village
and to the nearby ocean on foot.
Once
at the ocean, you can catch a ferry out to the Aran Islands
Inishmore, Inishmaan, Inisheer or simply enjoy
the glorious sunsets. There are some incredible rock formations
at the beach too. In the distance, you can see the Cliffs
of Moher.

When
in Doolin, it is a must to see the Cliffs of Moher; famous
for their 650 foot shear drop! If you don't have a car, hop
on the bus in the morning and return back to Doolin in the
afternoon. The Cliffs of Moher are 5 miles/8km from Doolin.
O'Brien's
Tower sits atop the Cliffs of Moher (Aillte an Mhothair in
Gaelic).
